The situation
DPS Ratlam is a CBSE school that was running admissions with printed brochures and phone calls. Parents searching for schools in Ratlam online didn't find much. The office was answering the same questions about fees, curriculum and the admissions process dozens of times a week.
They needed a site that gave parents those answers before they picked up the phone. It had to look professional and be updatable by office staff, not developers.
DPS Ratlam's homepage with admissions info and campus gallery.
What we built
Admissions and fee structure
Dedicated section covering eligibility, process, required documents and fees by grade. Parents get the full picture before calling or visiting.
Faculty and campus
Faculty profiles with qualifications, photo galleries from campus and events, pages for each facility. Shows parents what the school actually looks like.
Enquiry system
Form routes to the admissions office with the parent's details and the grade they're asking about. The admin tracks every enquiry with status so nothing gets missed.
The hard part
An admin the office staff would actually use
School websites go out of date quickly if only a developer can update them. We built a CMS first, but it was too complicated for the office staff. They needed to add event photos and update fee tables, not learn a content management system.
We stripped the admin down to three things: a gallery uploader (drag and drop), a fee table editor (works like a spreadsheet), and a news section with a basic text editor. That's it. The staff were updating the site the same week we launched.
We kept removing features until the staff stopped asking for help. That's when we knew it was right.
